The twins had their 6-month check-up last week and all is well. The doctor was again very pleased with their progress. Kendall has now surpassed her brother in the weight and height department. She weighed 17.4 lbs and was 27 1/2 inches. Christopher wasn't far behind at 16.7 lbs and 27 1/4 inches.
They both came down with their first colds 2 weeks ago and got over them fairly quickly. Now, we're battling something else. Kendall started with a stuffy nose early last week and that's about as far as it went. Poor Christopher didn't fair quite as well. When I picked him up from daycare on Tuesday, he felt warm. He spiked a 101 degree fever that came right down after a dose of Tylenol. Now, he's got a horrible cold. I'm hoping it only lasts a week and he'll be on the mend this week.
Other than that, it's been the same old, same old. We're going on vacation in about 4 weeks and I can't wait. We haven't had a real vacation in 2 years since last year's was cancelled due to my pregnancy.

omg. how are they so big already?? i can't wait. we have our 6 month visit next week (even though they are officially 7 months). the last time anyone was in there they only weighed around 15 lbs and were only 24 inches i think the last time they were measured!!!
