I Found Paradise!

I had a good day today. I went to visit my family and spent the day with my 10-month old niece.

My sister still had a lot of her maternity clothes so I tried a few on to see if they would work.

Holy cow!

Elastic-waist pants are THE greatest!

I can't tell if I'm starting to show or if it's just bloat at this point. Since I'm only 6 1/2 weeks, I'm guessing it's probably just bloat but it's making my regular pants uncomfortable.

I can still wear most of them but once I eat lunch, they get tight. Really tight.

To the point of the button leaving an indentation in my skin.

Nothin' says lovin' like "Made in China".

All of her early pregnancy pants fit me.

Let me just say that it was easier than shopping for regular pants!

No worries about the inseam being too short. No worries about my ass being too big.

Now, let's hope finding a bathing suit is just as easy!

YAY! In my untrained, based purely on personal experience estimation, I think IVF can start you off kinda big because of all the stims and stuff. I think TWINS can also move things along a bit faster in the whole growth thing! (At any rate, I was in maternity clothing REAL early and thought it was paradise too and had the IVF commonality, etc)

I love reading about this happy time for you. A nice way that IF doesn't ever leave you is that you can stumble on the blog of a stranger and never take for granted the awe and joy and wonder of a long awaited pregnancy finally happening. You truly feel the thrill. (not that there aren't also wonderfully empathetic people who didn't go through IF, of course!) But unlike the less fun trepid business, the pure and overwhelming capacity for joy that stays with you is very nice.

Anyway, congrats again and may you just continue to find all manner of paradise points along the way!

And viva the comfort pants!!!

Warmly,
Courtney
