My husband and I started trying for a family in 2001. After six years, I finally got pregnant with an ectopic pregnancy. I lost my left fallopian tube and my OB/GYN told me the only way I'd have a healthy pregnancy was to pursue IVF.
After 2 fresh and 1 frozen IVF cycle, I finally got my dream. Our twins were born October, 2009.
I initially started this blog as an outlet for me - dealing with infertility and the frustrations of wanting something so badly that was so cruely out of reach. It has now evolved into the trials and tribulations of motherhood and "twindom".
