Power Embryos, Activate!

We transferred this morning. All 4 embryos made it through the night so we had:
  • (1) 6-cell
  • (2) 8-cells
  • (1) 9-cell

My regular doctor was there this morning so maybe that was a good sign? DH and I went in this morning not knowing what to expect. We talked about putting all 4 back if it made sense. I mean, what the hell? We got married in Vegas so "roll the dice"!

The doctor came in and said the embryos looked really good and she recommended putting back the 2 8-cells. I told her we talked about doing all 4 and she emphatically said "NO!". She felt good about the ones we put back.

The nurse came in afterwards and I asked about the picture of the embryos. She said you usually have to ask for one. We got one automatically with the first fresh cycle so I didn't even think about it - I just assumed we'd get one. So, no picture. :(

They'll continue to monitor the remaining 2 and we'll see if we can get to blastocyst to freeze.

So, it's another day of bedrest for me.

Suzanne,

Congrats and sending you tons of good wishes for those embies to stick around.

I hope the others continue to grow so they can be frozen.

Wishing you only the best.
Fingers crossed for the next 2 weeks.

Many blessings, and tons of luck,
